Family Village has served people in Delaware County for more than 40 years.

We help more than 8,000 people every year through programming and services so all children can have a strong start in life.

Many of our team members come from the communities we serve, and some were participants themselves, so they understand what you’re going through. At Family Village, you get one-on-one support tailored to your family’s specific needs.

We provide education on pregnancy and parenting while showing you how to advocate for your needs. You will learn how to care for your baby and yourself, where to find medical care, and how to access resources for childcare, transportation, and more. If you need mental health counseling, legal aid, or help with housing, we can assist with that, too. Once you get to know us, you might want to join a parent café group or come to a community education session where you can get support from other new parents. We also provide services for the Spanish-speaking community and have many people on staff who are bilingual.

Family Village programs and services take place in different settings, including your home and in WIC clinics in Eddystone, Springfield, and Upper Darby. We have programs for moms, dads, partners, and grandparents – everyone who cares about you and the well-being of your child. At Family Village, you will find caring, experienced people who you can trust to provide the support you need.

When we’re having outreach events, we often run into families whom we’ve served for several generations. Just seeing the generations of families that come through our door speaks for itself.

Family Village, Bilingual Services Team Leader

[Family Village] has made my pregnancy probably the best experience I could have asked for. And as far as breastfeeding with the lactation cafes, they’ve been really helpful as well. They’ve allowed me to get out of the house and meet different people.
