How We Use Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties.

We may use your personally identifiable information to contact you to respond to an inquiry, conduct surveys, ask about your opinion of current services, or provide information about services that may be offered to you.

We may share the personal information we collect to investigate, prevent, or act regarding suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, legal or administrative process served on us.

You Can Opt-Out of Receiving Certain Emails from Us

We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters or other materials, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication, or by emailing us at info@delcofamilyvillage.org.

We are actively involved in social media. Our current platforms include Facebook and Instagram. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through these services, this information may be collected and used by others.

We are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of The Foundation for Delaware County. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of each website, so you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information.

How We Secure Your Personal Information

The security of your personal information is important to us.  When any information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites (such as Stripe), it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you have any questions about security on our website, contact us.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.  If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personally identifiable information, please contact us.
