Your Mental Health Matters

Get support for managing the emotional challenges of parenthood

If you are struggling with your mental health during pregnancy or after your baby arrives, you are not alone. GROW Mama (Growth, Resilience, Opportunities, and Wellness) is here for you. It is not unusual for new parents to feel overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, or depressed. We offer bilingual Spanish, culturally sensitive mental health services to women during pregnancy and up to two years postpartum, at no cost. Our team of licensed therapists and social workers offer individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and peer support depending on your needs.

We offer individual therapy sessions to women who experience depression after the  baby is born. If you are not experiencing clinical depression, but would like to talk to someone who understands, we also offer group therapy and peer support.

You must be enrolled in Healthy Start or Nurse-Family Partnership to receive mental health support from GROW Mama.

*If you are experiencing emotional distress or suicidal thoughts, you are not alone. Please call the confidential Lifeline – 988. A caring counselor is available to talk, 24/7.
