The Health Resource Center at Chester High School

Providing students with information for positive relationships and reproductive health

Many high school students in Delaware County have questions about reproductive health, such as how to prevent pregnancy and avoid disease, questions about gender and sexual identity, healthy relationships and consent, and family planning.

Family Village’s Health Resource Center (HRC) is located at Chester High School within the Chester Upland School District. It offers high-quality, confidential sexual and reproductive health counseling, education, and services from a trained professional. Students have access during the school day to a knowledgeable and trusted adult who can provide them with medically accurate information about sexual health. HRC also offers screenings that help promote better mental health and increase knowledge of health resources.

Young people between the ages of 14-24 from anywhere in Delaware County can access the HRC by scheduling an appointment with the youth services coordinator and sharing their questions. To schedule an HRC visit outside of Chester High School, please contact apierce@delcofamilyvillage.org.
