Healthy Start
Healthy Start case managers meet you where you are. They make sure you are connected to the resources, information, and supplies you need to give your baby a strong start in their first 18 months.
Doulas
Doulas are trained coaches who provide emotional support, physical comfort, and information before and after the baby arrives. Doulas attend births, making sure that parents have extra support before, during, and after labor.
WIC
WIC provides financial support to access healthy foods, personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals to other services, and more to people who are pregnant and families with children up to age 5.
Nurses
In Nurse-Family Partnership, a caring nurse will support you and your baby’s health through visits in your home or another location, checking on your pregnancy, answering questions, and connecting you with benefits and services.
Legal Help
Family Village helps new families facing poor housing conditions, eviction, employment discrimination, or domestic violence. We can help you access medical care, health insurance, education, and more.
Housing Support
If you are struggling to keep up with rent, utility bills, or home repairs, HOPE may be able to help with tenant education, legal assistance, and limited direct financial aid.
Basic Needs
To ensure a safe environment for your baby, Family Village provides essential items such as car seats and cribettes to families who qualify. We may also be able to help with air conditioners, diapers, and more.
Parenting Classes
Free classes, online and in-person, support new and expecting parents through every phase of parenting, from breastfeeding and infant sleep safety to fatherhood workshops.
Support for Dads
Case managers provide support, resources, and education to help expecting and new fathers and partners develop parenting skills, in group meetings or through one-on-one bilingual support.

Doula Care

A doula can provide an extra layer of comfort, advocacy, and respect during pregnancy. Our doulas understand the unique challenges and concerns that expectant families face before and after birth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have someone come to the house to receive services?

No. Family Village serves all of Delaware County. Programs and services take place in different settings, including your home, our Eddystone office, and in WIC clinics in Eddystone, Springfield, and Upper Darby. Reach out, and we can discuss more.

Can I participate if I am not the mother?

Yes, we have programs for fathers/partners, grandparents, and other caregivers can participate as well.

Does Family Village have child care?

Unfortunately, we do not have child care.

Can you serve people who don't speak English or Spanish?

Yes. We use a translator to help people who do not speak English or Spanish.
