This directory has been designed to help families find doulas who understand the unique challenges, experiences, fears, and concerns faced by birthing people and their families. Many doulas can be contacted directly to learn more about their services.

Melissa is the owner of Moon Sage Mama, a trauma-informed doula cooperative providing services from fertility through postpartum, maternal mental health coaching, and parent groups. Trained as a fertility, birth, and postpartum doula through Bebo Mia in 2018, she has supported over 200 births. She believes that each person should be cared for from a trauma-informed lens: assuming nothing, giving choice, respecting consent, and honoring the birthing person and baby’s spirit above all else.
