The Delco Doula Collaborative is built on the belief that when we come together, we create stronger families, stronger doulas, and a stronger community. In order to be included in the Delco Doula Collaborative registry, there are several criteria required for eligibility.
Geography (at least one of the following)
- Live in Delaware County
- Live an adjacent community (identified by zipcode)
- Currently provide significant professional or community service in Delaware County
Training/Credentials (at least one of the following)
- A current Perinatal Doula certification with the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) OR
- Completed the training and practice requirements of any training that meets the PCB certification requirements for perinatal doula certification
- Complete the training requirements of any training organization that meets the PCB certification requirements for perinatal doula certification (see additional “other documentation” requirement below).
Other Documentation
- Current CPR training certification (required for all)
- Current liability insurance (required for all)
- Note: All certifications are verified before being listed on the website and must be kept up to date. (required for all)
- Doulas who have not yet completed the practice requirements of their training/certification program must provide three professional or doula client references. These will be verified before a doula is listed on the website. (required for some)
