A doula can provide an extra layer of comfort, advocacy, and respect during this time. This directory has been designed to help families find doulas who understand the unique challenges, experiences, fears, and concerns faced by birthing people and their families.  Many doulas can be contacted directly to learn more about their services.

Our staff will follow up with additional information as soon as possible.

Keystone First members residing in Delaware County may be eligible for Labor doula support covered by Medicaid through the Delco Doulas Collaborative.

Born in Guatemala and raised in Delaware County, Aleida is a full-spectrum CAPPA trained doula. She became a doula because she believes it’s every woman’s right to have an empowered birth and postpartum experience. Her goal for the future is to help BIPOC improve birth outcomes and maternal mental health and reclaim ancestral birthing practices. Ashli is a state-certified full-spectrum doula and the Media & Content Coordinator for Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. She is also the owner of a childcare facility and perinatal collective, where she supports families through their journey from pregnancy to postpartum. A wife and mother to three daughters, Ashli is passionate about advocating for inclusive, compassionate care, empowering birthing individuals, and nurturing her community.

Charlotte G

Charlotte is a full-spectrum Christian doula with a background in behavioral health and early childhood education. She is experienced in vaginal births, cesarean births, VBAC births, and inductions. She has provided support to moms having a singular birth and those having multiples. Her support extends beyond birth, encompassing both the prenatal and postpartum stages. She offers spiritual support if desired and welcomes your family’s beliefs into the birthing space.

A compassionate doula, Christine supports families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a trauma-informed and holistic approach. Her background as a neuro specialist helps her understand the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals and families. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where families feel understood, empowered, and nurtured.

Born and raised in Delaware County, Erica is a certified bilingual full-spectrum doula and CLC. She became a doula because she was interested in a hands-on approach to supporting birthing families. She hopes to inspire her clients in investigating the mind-body connection that takes place during their prenatal journey.

Jennifer is a devoted wife and mother of eleven children. She has spent over a decade helping other women navigate their pregnancies and childbirth experiences and is fascinated by their beauty and strength. In 2023, Jennifer decided to use her extensive knowledge and skills to minister to other women professionally, becoming a certified doula and founding Marvelous Works Birth Services (mwbirths.com), where she serves birthing women with passion and purpose.

Karen is a certified full-spectrum doula and CLC. With degrees in education and social work, she is a CAPPA doula trainer, advisor of CAPPA’s postpartum doula certification program, and Healthy Start Project Director. Karen loves birth work because everyone involved becomes someone new. She believes the birth space is sacred and feels privileged to help birthing people along their journey, supporting healing, health equity, and the rights of childbearing people.

Kenya feels the outcome would have been different. As a Doula, Kenya aims to support other women and their partners in knowing their rights and decisions around their birth and helping them experience a healthy and happy outcome to their birthing experience.
